We're delighted to be able to offer you our glamping cwt's (Welsh for housings). We can sleep up to fourteen guests and each has access to our outdoor hot-tub which is available all year (except in severe weather conditions!) Available from 8am to 9pm, unfortunately if you are under 16 or pregnant you will not be able to access our hot tub due to health & safety.
The panoramic view of the Shropshire Hills from each cwt is truly breath-taking, it's not hard to see why the area is a designated Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty and with the second highest peak in the Hills just ten minutes away it's the perfect location for lacing up your walking boots and taking in some fresh country air.
Each cwt is uniquely decorated and is available for £70 per night with access to toilet and shower facilities just a short stroll back down the hill in the main Abel's Harp building.
Also included is a delicious breakfast with lots of choices including cereal, smoked salmon and eggs or a full English breakfast.
Guest Afternoon Tea 50% off!
Afternoon Tea is a lovely treat, especially when you can get 50% off the bill! Please see our offers page full full details & pricing.
If you'd like to bring your four legged canine pal there is a £20 surcharge per pet, per stay which includes a doggie breakfast in the morning
Throw open the doors and be at one with nature here at Abel's Harp.
We are currently battling extremely wet weather for the time of year which has made our glamping area and some other parts of the site and local areamuddy we would like to ask customers to come prepared with Wellington Boots at the ready and please do let us know if we can make your stay more enjoyable by helping to dry your clothes or shoes we are more than happy to help.
When the weather gets extremely wet, icy and on occasion very windy please be understanding if we close our hot tub for periods of time this is done for our customers safety and because when we are battling the elements, sometimes it just isn't humanly possible to keep our hot tub clean and to the standardwe expect it to be for customers to use - it is based on the side of the hill which generally means it has outstanding views and is set in a beautiful location but when the weather is this atrocious keeping it mud and grass free can be an impossibility and when the wind is high or the water pipes become frozen it is necessary for us to close it for your own safety. We are very sorry if this causes any disappointment during your stay and would like to ask all of our lovelycustomers to ask the sunshine and warm weather to hurry on up to South Shropshire! Roll on Summer....
N.B. If you're visiting us between the 27th February 2017 - 13th March 2017 we are going through a programme of maintenance and decoration as we do every spring, outside and inside the building which should have no impact on your stay.
We will remain open as normal but if you'd like any more information about this please e-mail us on firstname.lastname@example.org
