How can i book a room/glamping unit?You can book via our website, third-party booking sites, Groupon, telephone and email.

Has the complimentary breakfast menu changed?As of Summer 2019 we have changed the breakfast menu. Our breakfast hamper consists of a savoury muffin, oat cake biscuits, yoghurt drink, orange juice and fresh fruit. This will be served to your rooms daily.

When can we use our afternoon tea booking?Afternoon tea is served between 2-4pm daily. For one night stays you are permitted to use your afternoon tea booking on the day of your stay. For 2 nights or longer you can specify the day on which you would like your afternoon tea by contacting us via email or phone.

Do you provide vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options?"Yes. we can cater for these dietary requirements. Please inform us when you book your room so that we can provide a range of options for your meal during your stay.

Can our dog come and stay at Abel's Harp too?We provide 2 dog friendly hotel rooms and all 7 of our glamping units are also dog friendly, at an additional charge of £20 per stay.

Can we consume alcohol in our glamping unit?Yes. But due to our licensing restrictions this must be purchased on site in our fully stocked restaurant bar.

Can we eat in our glamping unit?Our glamping units are not self catering - we therefore respectfully request that all food consumed on the premises is purchased on the premises.

What is the smoking policy for glamping units?We operate a strict non-smoking policy in all our rooms, communal areas, restaurant and glamping units. We reserve the right to charge up to £200 for smoke damage to any of our rooms.

Is there a water supply to the glamping units?Yes. There is a water outlet in the main glamping unit area.

Do you provide tea and coffee making facilities?Yes. We provide water and tea and coffee making facilities in all our glamping units.

Can i park next to the glamping unit?No. We ask customers of the glamping units to park at the top end of the main car park. It is just a short stroll from there to your accomodation.

Who can use the hot tub facilities?All guests of the hotel rooms and glamping units may use the hot tub facilities. Users must br 16 years of age.

What are the opening times for the hot tub facilities?The hot tub is open daily from 11am - 10pm

Things you should know before using the hot tub....- All guests must shower before using the hot tub (body lotions, creams and fake tan can all affect the pH balance of the water and impact the hot tub filtration system) - Please do not alter the hot tub settings - No alcohol or glass to be taken into the hot tub - Please be considerate of other guests - The hot tub is cheked twice daily for water cleanliness and a pH check is taken - Please replace the lid carefully when you have finished

Is Abel's Harp licensed?Yes, we are fully licensed across our entire premises. We serve alcohol in our bar and restaurant and can also provide drinks to be consumed within our glamping units. No alcohol should be brought into the premises that is not bought on site as this contravenes our licensing restrictions.

Is there a cancellation policy?Offers including vouchers and Groupon purchases are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Direct bookings at standard rates may change dates once, but guests must give at least 7 days notice.
