Abel's Harp is the perfect venue for your Wedding, special event or simply a great choice for a themed afternoon tea.

We offer cosy hotel rooms, cute and unique glamping cwts (don't worry it's only Welsh and translates to hut!)
A quirky country retreat based in the beautiful South Shropshire hills.
Abel's Harp, established in November 2012, benefits from what is possibly the most dramatic location in the West Shropshire area. Situated on high ground overlooking the Welsh hills, the panoramic views enjoyed from it are an absolute delight. Abel's Harp takes its name from Abel Woodus, a character who famously plays a harp in Mary Webb's 'Gone to Earth' .

OUR ROOMS
We have five individually designed rooms that are named from work by the author Mary Webb.
Each room is an ensuite with shower and complimentary toiletries and come equipped with TV and tea & coffee making facilities.
OUR CWTS
In addition to our Hotel Rooms we are delighted to be able to offer our Glamping Cwt's (it's welsh for huts!). Each cwt has a comfortable double bed, is uniquely decorated and has access to toilet and shower facilities just a short stroll away in the Abel's Harp building.
